this session, Bob Gerard, Sr. Technology Specialist with Microsoft Canada,
discussed and demonstrated the new capabilities that will be introduced
with Microsoft Exchange 2000, a.k.a. Exchange "Platinum". We looked
at the new features from both an administrative and end users perspective,
and he showed how this release takes advantage of the services of Windows
2000 helps to make the overall use, management, and deployment of these
systems much easier than before.
In addition, we had a look at some of the new application development capabilities inherent in the combination of Outlook 2000 and Exchange 2000, along with how the web integrates seamlessly into this framework. We saw first hand how with Exchange 2000, building collaborative and messaging enabled applications is easier than ever. |
