Course Description
A two-day course targeted for system analysts, development managers and
software development team members. Instruction covers iterative
development, disciplines and other concepts from Rational Unified Process®
(RUP®). Students will participate in a half-day simulation of a software
development project, which reinforces the concept of risk-driven iterative
development.
Objectives Upon completion of the course, participants will
be able to:
- Describe Rational's six best practices for software development
- Describe the Rational Unified Process in terms of its phases and
disciplines
- Explain the benefits of use-case driven and architecture-centric
process
- Describe risk-driven, iterative approach to software development
