Skiing in Whistler (Su 08 / Tu 10-Jan-2001)

Ton went skiing in Whistler with Hans de Haas and his Dutch friend Frits Fischer who was in Vancouver on holidays. The skiing conditions were perfect on Sunday and Tuesday. On Monday it was cloudy and it snowed here and there but the skiing was great. The lower runs started to become very slushy so we downloaded to the village using the gondola. On Sunday we all got sun burned because we forgot to put sun screen on our faces.

We spent the Sunday on Whistler Mountain and Monday and Tuesday on Blackcomb Mountain.

Su 08-Apr-2001 It is clear that we had a great time on the mountain. The weather was perfect. The only stupidity was that we forgot to put on our sun screen ...
Su 08-Apr-2001 13.30 After a day of skiing we met Frans and Marieke  Luit at the Longhorn Pub in the village. We also had great fun with 3 guys from Finland. After having a couple of drinks we had dinner at the Brew House. Frits didn't remember what he ordered and ate (it was chicken stir fry) because the drinks had gotten to him already. After a few more drinks we headed to the chalet where Frits crashed on his bed and almost immediately went to "7th Heaven".
