Sailing from Point
Roberts, USA (Su 12-Nov-2000)
Peter Schmit (former
colleague at Weyerhaeuser) invited me for a sailing during the summer and today
we made it happen. Also Peter's neighbour George joined us. Peter bought his
boat in the spring of 2000 and has it docked at the Point
Roberts Marina in the USA. We had to cross he border first to get to the peninsula
of Point Roberts. From their we left port and stayed in US waters for almost 3
hours. We made it back in time before it got dark. We had to tag a few times and
then motored in the last part back to the harbour.
