Michel
and Ton left work at 4.30 PM and were ready at the mountain around 5.45.
Well ... we had to beat rush hour from downtown Vancouver to Cypress
Mountain. It all looked good, 9 degrees (Celsius) on the mountain and
clear skies. This was going to be one of the nicest evenings to ski.
Here we look from from the Quad
Chair (or Sunrise chair) towards Bowen Island and Howe Sound ... a bit
hazy though.

The
first thing we did was ... EAT. All you can eat and drink for CAN $ 4.00
... not a lot of choice: soft drinks and burgers (vegetarian or beef) or
hot dog ... and the mustard was long gone. Anyways, you can't ski on an
empty stomach. |

The
Cypress restaurant closed early, so Michel and Ton went to The keg in West
Vancouver (Park Royal Mall) for the necessary rewards ... a jug (or
pitcher) of Granville Island Pale Ale.
That's it guys.
