On Saturday 19-Oct-2013 at 10.00 AM a group of invited kids from Danique’s class gathered at Danique’s home for cake and drinks. Sa 21-Sep-2013 17.00-23.30: Today Ton visited his High school reunion at Twents Carmel Lyceum in Oldenzaal for the schools 90th birthday. See http://www.carmelreunie.nl for more details. The last reunion was in 2003 which Ton also attended. The next reunion is already scheduled for 23-Sep-2013 when the school is 100 years old.

Su 17-Mar-2013: Today Danique got her national swimming diploma/certificate B. It’s her second after she did the test for A in November 2012. With her on the picture is her swimming instructor Marion. The swimming test was in a deep 25 meter pool.

Today Danique underwent a health check by the school doctor. Everything was fine. She is 16,6 kilograms and 1.085 meters, all within the margins for children of her age. Blood pressure and other checks were all good.

Su 11-Nov-2012 16.15: Today Danique was tested for the international Golden Frog swim certificate. She was also allowed to do the test for the national A diploma (see picture). She passed both tests.

Th 05-Jul-2012 08.30-14.00: Danique’s class went on a school trip to camping Woensberg in Blaricum. The class had to walk to the destination via the animal farm. They had to bring their favourite toy or doll and a blanket. So they could sleep in the tents. Their activities were blindfolded tasting, tree climbing, camping and … eating ice creams. At the end the kids were all picked up by their parents.

Friday 25-May-2012: Danique and her school buddy Martijn are enjoying themselves with water and the trampoline on a warm spring day. Today we had clear skies and 25 degrees Celsius. After school Danique went to Martijn’s home and later that afternoon she attended her swimming class.
